Description
Wakoucha (meaning black tea grown and produced in Japan) is a rare and wonderful tea grown in Kagoshima prefecture. It is a fully oxidized tea; providing a rich and deep copper color, with a light to medium body. Our Wakoucha is bright tasting, refreshing, and a little malty with slight astringency. At first sip you will notice that this brews up a cup similar to a delicate Ceylon black tea, with a touch of earthiness, hints of cinnamon and dark chocolate. |
